We’ve been going here since my son had his first dental check up at 3 years of age. My son is 15 now. Dr. Dave is... great with the kids and so are all of the assistants. The fish tank theme for the office decor is awesome! When my son was little he loved the treasure chest. They’ve done a great job keeping us safe during the pandemic this past year. I will miss this place when my son ages out in the next year or so.read more
My kids are ages 3 and 5, and this office has done a spectacular job making the dentist experience an exciting and fun... experience for them WHILE getting the job done. Before their first appointment a year ago, they were both very nervous about going to the dentist, my youngest hardly let me brush his teeth with getting scared. So I was very particular about choosing a dentist that will ease their nerves and introduce good cleaning habits. Dr. Olson and his team exceeded my expectations!! They just know how to make kids feel super comfortable and I also love how much care they put into making the office look fun and inviting. My kids left the dentist office eager to maintain good cleaning habits to make the dentist proud of them. When I told them today that we’re going back to the dentist for their second checkup, they were excited! I believe finding the right “first” dentist for them has set them up for good cleaning habits for life, and I’m so grateful!read more
We have been taking our daughter (9) to see Dr. Dave and Dr. Betsy since she was a toddler. The experience and care... have been positive and even enjoyable, for a dentist visit 😉! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming; and, the atmosphere and decor are the BEST I've come across in my dental experience!After moving from Raleigh to Clayton 5+ years ago, we still choose to drive 90 minutes roundtrip, past numerous alternative dentist offices, to Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry to receive their extraordinary dental care!read more
Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry’s Dr Dave Olson is fantastic! Both if my kids have gone here for 5+ years. They have a... delightful waiting room. My kids are always happy to go to the dentist. They have filled cavities, helped teeth along that didn’t want to come out, and patiently explained unusual dental developments (teeth that failed to erupt). I have received excellent referrals to orthodontists and oral surgeons when needed. They have taken my insurance and submitted claims on my behalf.There staff is professional, friendly and helpful. I am so grateful we then found Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dave and his entire staff are wonderful! I can not say enough about how kind and gentle they are with my 3 kids. They always chat with them and put them at ease before cleaning. Dr. Dave is so friendly and patient. He is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions and concerns. Dr. Dave has been our family’s pediatric dentist for many years. He is absolutely fantastic with the kids, whether they... be 5 years old or 15 years old. He takes great care in explaining everything to the kids and the parents so we can make informed decisions. Despite caring for a wide range of ages he always makes sure that the kids are treated age appropriately. Our kids are older now and he adjusted how he talks to them and works with them now that they are older. Despite being teenagers they don’t feel “silly” going to Dr. Dave as they have with their general pediatric doctors. His staff is a pleasure to work with as well. Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry is amazing! My daughter is only 3 and today she told me she loved going to the dentist! Dr... Dave was fun (and kept looking for Olaf hiding in her mouth haha) and that she loved her hygienist. She said the hygienist showed her “all the cool things”. My husband went with my daughter to this appointment so she came home telling me all about her amazing appointment and she was ready to go back! I really can’t say enough about these folks. They’re great from start to finish, both before Covid and during. My... daughter loves when they show her all the equipment and explain what they’re going to do with it. They really make the kids part of the appointment and have them involved as much as they can safely be involved. The doctors even came by with some stickers for her before the appt even started which immediately put her even more at ease. You’re surrounded by paintings and fish and all kinds of cool things kids love. It’s really been a great two years with these folks. I felt extremely safe during the whole appointment! Dr. Dave and his team at Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry are simply the best. My children have been patients of his for... over 11 years now and we have been very pleased with each visit. They take the time to explain the procedures to both the parent and the child and absolutely know how to treat children. Ms. Diane even sent a personal note home for my children with extra stickers last year. It was a special touch following a nervous checkup for my 4 year old.
